I pledge to show up for Starbucks workers at union stores during Red for Bread weekend, August 23-26 2024.
Why is this important?
Starbucks Workers United is asking for your help as we fight for our union contracts. Right now, baristas at nearly 500 unionized Starbucks stores are making progress at the bargaining table. But before we head back at the end of the month, we're asking for solidarity from all of our allies!
With the recent news that Starbucks is replacing their CEO, effective immediately, it's even more important to demonstrate the broad public support for our union! From Friday, August 23 to Monday, August 26 we're asking allies like you to join our next Red for Bread weekend!
Put on something red and stop by your local union Starbucks (map here) to order a beverage under the name “UNION STRONG.” While you’re at it, please share some words of encouragement to baristas who are more than RED-dy for a collective bargaining agreement!
